Department of Forensic Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Scientific Workshop on Firearm Projectile Trajectory Analysis and Crime Scene Reconstruction
As part of Al-Mustaqbal University's ongoing efforts to strengthen scientific and practical education and develop students' specialized skills, the Department of Forensic Sciences at the College of Science organized a scientific workshop entitled "Firearm Projectile Trajectory Analysis and Forensic Crime Scene Reconstruction," presented by Assistant Lecturer Hussein Ali Abed.
The workshop addressed the scientific principles of firearm projectile trajectory analysis, including methods for determining the direction and angle of fire and examining physical evidence associated with projectiles to reconstruct the sequence of events at a crime scene.
It also highlighted the importance of crime scene reconstruction based on physical and forensic evidence, emphasizing the role of scientific analysis in developing an accurate understanding of incidents involving firearms.
The workshop aimed to enhance students' knowledge of forensic sciences and strengthen their ability to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications, contributing to the preparation of qualified specialists capable of examining crime scenes according to scientific and professional standards.
This workshop forms part of the Department of Forensic Sciences' ongoing scientific activities aimed at supporting academic development and improving students' research and practical skills.
