As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its international academic presence and expand scientific cooperation, Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the 15th International Conference on Educational Studies and Applied Linguistics (VESAL 2026), organized by Tishk International University in Erbil on October 22, 2026. The conference brought together distinguished academic leaders, educational officials, researchers, and specialists. The conference was attended by Mr. Alan Hama Saeed, Minister of Education in the Kurdistan Region; Professor Dr. Idris Hadi Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tishk International University; and Professor Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi, President of Tishk International University, alongside a number of academics, experts, and representatives of higher education institutions. Al-Mustaqbal University was represented by Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, on behalf of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and Professor Dr. Tariq Jawad Kadhim, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department. This participation aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University's strategy to strengthen international academic partnerships, advance research collaboration, and exchange expertise and best practices in higher education, thereby contributing to the improvement of the educational environment and the quality of academic outcomes. The participation also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
