The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a promotional activity in the Registration Hall to introduce the department and its academic specialization, highlight the nature of its study programs, and emphasize its importance in the medical field, thereby raising students’ awareness of health and medical disciplines and their future prospects. The activity was attended by Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs; Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khudhair Al-Humairi, Head of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques; and Prof. Dr. Baha Fadel, Department Rapporteur. They reviewed the promotional activities and the efforts made to introduce the department and its academic programs. The activity provided information about the department’s curriculum and practical training throughout the different stages of study, as well as the vital role of anesthesia techniques within the healthcare system, particularly in supporting medical teams in operating rooms and intensive care units and contributing to patient safety during medical and surgical procedures. The activity also highlighted the department’s role in preparing qualified technical personnel equipped with the scientific knowledge and practical skills required in the field of anesthesia. This is achieved through the integration of academic education and practical training, enhancing graduates’ competencies and their ability to keep pace with scientific and technological advancements in the healthcare sector.
