Prof. Dr. Haider Jabbar Abd, Head of the Communications Engineering Technology Department, contributed to the international scientific research community following his selection as a scientific reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking, an internationally recognized journal specializing in communications engineering and intelligent networking. He was selected to review a research paper entitled “Semi-simulation Data Generation Method and Amplitude-Phase Dual Attention Transformer for HF Automatic Modulation Recognition.” In an official letter dated October 15, 2026, the journal’s editorial board confirmed receipt of the scientific review and expressed its gratitude for the efforts made to maintain the quality of published research. This academic contribution recognizes expertise in modern communications technologies, artificial intelligence, and signal processing. It also highlights the distinguished academic presence of the department’s faculty members and their active participation in international research activities. Furthermore, this achievement supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by promoting high-quality scientific research, innovation, and technological advancement.
