As part of the National Forum on Early Detection of Breast Cancer, the Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness corner aimed at promoting health education and raising community awareness about the importance of prevention and early disease detection. The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Professor Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qayyim, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, visited the awareness corner and reviewed its educational publications and materials highlighting the importance of early breast cancer detection and the role of health awareness in promoting women's health. The University President praised the department's efforts in preparing the awareness corner and its active participation in the forum's activities. He emphasized the importance of academic and student initiatives in raising health awareness, promoting a culture of prevention, and strengthening the university's role in serving the community. This initiative reflects the Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department's commitment to participating in health and awareness activities and contributing to the dissemination of medical knowledge, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
