Lectures in the Medicinal Plants course continued at the Department of Biology, Al-Mustaqbal University, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, under the supervision of Lecturer Fatima Basim Yaseen. This coincided with follow-up by the Department Rapporteur, Lecturer Jaafar Hamed Jaafar, who monitored students’ attendance and emphasized the importance of complying with official attendance requirements in accordance with approved university regulations. The lectures covered the prescribed scientific topics in the Medicinal Plants course, introducing the importance and characteristics of plants with medicinal uses and their role in therapeutic applications. This contributed to expanding students’ scientific knowledge and connecting academic concepts with the biological applications of plants. As part of the follow-up, the Department Rapporteur emphasized the necessity of attending theoretical and practical lectures, monitoring absence rates, and observing the regulations concerning initial and final warnings. These measures help promote academic discipline and ensure the regular progress of the educational process. This follow-up is part of the Department of Biology’s efforts to support students’ academic progress, strengthen their commitment to university regulations and instructions, and ensure the implementation of the prescribed curriculum in accordance with the approved academic plan.
