The College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University concluded the activities of the National Forum on Early Detection of Breast Cancer, held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi. The closing ceremony honored those who contributed to organizing the forum and ensuring the success of its scientific and awareness-raising activities, in the presence of the University President and the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qaim. The closing ceremony featured the distribution of participation certificates by the University President and the College Dean in recognition of the efforts and valuable contributions made to organizing the forum. The event included scientific activities and health and community initiatives aimed at raising awareness of the importance of early breast cancer detection and promoting regular screening as an essential step toward prevention and improving the chances of early diagnosis and treatment. The forum featured a scientific exhibition showcasing students’ projects, including educational models and techniques related to laboratory diagnostics and histological examination. It also included awareness booths, scientific lectures delivered by specialist physicians, and free medical examinations, all of which supported the forum’s objectives and strengthened public awareness of the importance of early detection. The closing ceremony also included commemorative group photographs bringing together the University Presidency, the College Deanship, participants, and organizers. These photographs documented the scientific and health event, which highlighted the importance of integrating academic and medical efforts in launching awareness initiatives and strengthening community engagement. The forum reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment, as the top-ranked university in Iraq, to supporting scientific and health-related activities and strengthening the role of academic institutions in promoting health awareness and social responsibility.
