As part of the College of Engineering’s commitment to advancing engineering education and strengthening the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application, students of the Civil Engineering Department at Al-Mustaqbal University carried out field applications as part of the practical component of the Engineering Surveying course. The activity aimed to develop students’ technical skills and enhance their experience in conducting surveying operations at engineering sites. The applications included training students in the use of surveying instruments, performing engineering measurements, and determining elevations and distances. These activities help improve students’ accuracy and efficiency in using surveying technologies, while developing their engineering analysis skills and ability to apply scientific principles to various engineering projects. The activity was conducted under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, reflecting the College Deanship’s commitment to providing a supportive learning environment that promotes practical training and equips students with field experience to meet the demands of the engineering job market. This activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing the quality of engineering education and expanding opportunities for practical learning, thereby contributing to the preparation of competent engineers equipped with the scientific knowledge and practical skills required to perform their professional duties efficiently. Al-Mustaqbal University… The No. 1 University in Iraq.
