Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the College of Medical and Health Technologies organized the National Forum on Early Detection of Breast Cancer in conjunction with World Breast Cancer Day, observed on October 19. The forum aimed to raise health awareness about the importance of early detection and highlight the latest diagnostic technologies and their role in improving treatment outcomes and recovery prospects. The forum was attended by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi; the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi; and the Dean of the College of Medical and Health Technologies, Professor Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qayyim, alongside a distinguished group of medical specialists, representatives of relevant healthcare institutions, faculty members, and students.The program featured scientific and awareness lectures delivered by medical specialists, as well as a scientific exhibition showcasing students’ projects. The exhibition highlighted modern technologies used in breast cancer diagnosis and applications of artificial intelligence in medicine. Educational materials were also distributed, and free medical examinations were provided in support of early detection efforts. At the conclusion of the forum, participants and contributing organizations were honored in recognition of their scientific and awareness-raising efforts and their contributions to the success of this health initiative.
