The Industrial College Technologies Department at Al-Mustaqbal University launched a health awareness activity through the distribution of educational brochures entitled “How Can We Protect Our Kidneys During Chemotherapy?” The activity was conducted by Dr. Tuqa Hazim Abdullah, Ms. Ansam Fadhil Mahmoud, and Ms. Tabarak Ahmed Turki on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, with the aim of raising health awareness about the potential effects of chemotherapy on kidney function and ways to reduce its complications. The activity provided educational information on the importance of maintaining kidney health throughout chemotherapy, highlighting the role of regular medical tests in monitoring kidney function and electrolyte levels in the blood. It also emphasized the importance of following medical instructions and monitoring any health changes that may require consultation with the specialized medical team. This activity is part of the Industrial College Technologies Department’s efforts to promote health awareness and strengthen social responsibility by communicating scientific information in a simplified manner that helps raise awareness of the importance of preventing kidney complications. It also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3), which focuses on Good Health and Well-being. AL_mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq
