Dr Hussein Jabr Al-Taie, a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University, has achieved a distinguished academic and research accomplishment through the publication of two specialised scholarly works in the field of law. Published by Al-Rayahin Publishing, Printing and Distribution House, these books represent a valuable contribution to the University’s scholarly output and aim to enrich Iraqi and Arab university libraries with contemporary legal references addressing pressing administrative and environmental challenges. This intellectual achievement is the result of an intensive research and authorship programme. The first book, entitled “The Legal Regulation of Employee Performance Evaluation,” was published on 10 January 2026 and registered under Deposit No. (2820) at the Iraqi National Library and Archives in Baghdad. The publication provides a comprehensive analysis of the legislative frameworks and legal mechanisms governing employee performance evaluation and professional competence within government institutions. The second book, entitled “The Legal Regulation of Taxation to Reduce Environmental Pollution in Iraq,” was published on 5 October 2026 and registered under Deposit No. (2818). This scholarly work offers an in-depth examination of how taxation policies and financial legislation can serve as effective legal instruments for environmental protection and pollution reduction, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Department of Business Administration’s leadership and the University’s scientific committees emphasised that Dr Hussein Jabr Al-Taie’s continued scholarly contributions reflect the strong commitment of the Department’s academic staff to transforming theoretical knowledge into applied research that serves government institutions and the wider community. They further highlighted that the publication of these two specialised books significantly strengthens the academic quality and research reputation of Al-Mustaqbal University, reinforcing its distinguished position as Iraq’s leading private university and its presence in internationally recognised university rankings.
