As part of the scientific activities of the Department of Medical Biotechnology, College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, a scientific workshop entitled “Glucose Analysis: The Biochemical Pathway of Cellular Energy Production” was held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the Microbiology Laboratory, Pharmacy Building, at 9:00 a.m. The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Hasnain Khalil Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Medical Biotechnology, along with Assistant Lecturer Tuqa Adel Abboud and Assistant Lecturer Madlola Moayied Faiq. The workshop focused on the scientific principles of glucose analysis and the biochemical pathways responsible for cellular energy production, highlighting their significance in disease diagnosis and understanding cellular functions. This workshop reflects the department’s commitment to enhancing scientific knowledge and practical skills while supporting academic activities that contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through promoting awareness of essential biochemical concepts in medical sciences.
