Under the generous auspices of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, the respected Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, and under the supervision and direct follow-up of the Head of the Electrical Engineering Technologies Department, the respected Assistant Lecturer Dr. Hassan Muwaffaq Ghani, the department organized a scientific field visit to Al-Mustaqbal Hospital for a group of its students, supervised by the teaching and technical staff: Assistant Lecturer Ali Abbas Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radi Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein The field visit aimed to bolster the practical and cognitive capabilities of the students, offering them a first-hand look at the electrical and medical equipment operated within the hospital. Students explored system operational mechanisms, their vital role in health services delivery, and the critical function of periodic and preventive maintenance in maintaining equipment efficiency and uninterrupted service. The visit encompassed an orientation on real-world operations within the healthcare facility and the practical applications of engineering technologies in the medical sector. This experience served to broaden the students' technical perspectives, bridging theoretical concepts covered in academic lectures with actual workplace applications. This scientific trip is part of the Electrical Engineering Technologies Department's ongoing activities to develop students' academic and practical skills, strengthen ties with service and healthcare institutions, and cultivate qualified engineering personnel equipped with the field expertise required to keep pace with modern technological advancements. At the conclusion of the visit, the department commended the importance of such scientific initiatives in driving the educational process forward, reaffirming its commitment to continuing field visits and activities that elevate the academic and professional standards of our students.
