The Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted elections to select the new fourth-year student representative, reflecting the university’s commitment to empowering students to represent their academic cohort and strengthen their organizational roles. The electoral process was supervised by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Mardas, and the Department Rapporteur, Asst. Lecturer Iman Yasser Hussein. The elections took place in an atmosphere of transparency, effective organization, and academic responsibility, aiming to establish effective communication between students and the department administration and address academic affairs and educational service needs. This initiative reflects the university’s institutional commitment to supporting young student leaders and enhancing their role in academic decision-making, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
