Al Mustaqbal University hosted the 11th International Scientific Conference on Arab Women’s Sports, under the patronage of the University President, Professor Hassan Shakir Majdi, with the participation of distinguished researchers and academics from Iraqi and Arab universities. The conference aimed to exchange research expertise and explore the latest developments in sports, health, and the sustainable empowerment of women. The opening ceremony featured a speech delivered on behalf of the University Presidency by Professor Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision. He emphasized the importance of scientific conferences in strengthening communication among academic institutions, advancing knowledge and sports practices, and supporting research that contributes to improving women’s physical and psychological health while keeping pace with scientific and technological developments. The conference recorded remarkable research participation, with the Scientific Committee receiving 389 research papers, of which 264 were accepted. The papers addressed a wide range of topics, including modern techniques in complementary and alternative medicine, sustainable women’s health, biotechnology and digital technology applications in sports, as well as psychological health, hormonal health, and sports education. The opening sessions included discussions of distinguished scientific papers presenting contemporary perspectives on developing women’s sports and enhancing training methods and healthcare practices. Artistic and cultural performances were also featured, adding a distinctive atmosphere to the conference proceedings. The University emphasized the importance of translating the conference outcomes into practical applications through the development of health and sports programs, expanding research collaboration among universities, and promoting the use of innovation and modern technologies to serve society. These efforts support the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Innovation and Partnerships.
