The Department of Biology at Al-Mustaqbal University continued its General Mycology lectures for third-year students on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, under the supervision of Lecturer Mona Raed Turki, at the Humanities Building, as part of the academic program for the 2026–2027 academic year. The lectures aimed to develop students’ scientific understanding of the fundamental concepts of mycology, including the characteristics and biological significance of fungi and their relationships with the environment and other living organisms. The lectures covered the prescribed scientific topics, explaining the basic concepts of fungi, their classification, and their characteristics. This contributed to reinforcing theoretical knowledge and deepening students’ understanding of the course material. These lectures reflect the Department of Biology’s ongoing commitment to monitoring the educational process and enhancing students’ scientific knowledge in accordance with the approved academic plan.
