Electrical control is considered the backbone of many modern applications in the industrial and energy sectors, as it aims to regulate, direct, and manage the flow of electrical energy with high precision to ensure the safe and efficient operation of various systems and equipment. Electrical control systems include a set of devices and components such as switches, logic components, sensors, and programmable controllers that work together to monitor and adjust the performance of machines and networks. The utmost importance of these systems lies in their ability to protect equipment from damage resulting from overloads or sudden current surges, in addition to improving energy consumption efficiency and reducing human error. Control systems are divided into two main types: manual control, which relies directly on human intervention to operate and stop equipment, and automatic control, which uses electronic and programmable control elements to make decisions and execute operations without human intervention, providing superior response speed and ultimate accuracy. The applications of electrical control vary to include production lines in factories, renewable energy systems, smart electricity distribution networks, and building elevators, all the way to advanced smart city applications, where the integration of modern control systems contributes to raising industrial safety levels and achieving better environmental sustainability. Al-Mustaqbal University is the First University in Iraq
