academic knowledge and linking theoretical concepts with practical applications, the Department of Medical Biotechnology, College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Biomedical Applications in Forensic Science” on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Hall 109, Humanities Building, at 10:00 a.m. The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Naji, Rapporteur of the Department of Medical Biotechnology. The presentation highlighted the latest biomedical technologies used in forensic science and their role in supporting criminal investigations through advanced laboratory techniques, while also reviewing recent scientific developments in this important field. This scientific activity aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, by promoting scientific awareness and emphasizing the importance of biomedical technologies in strengthening justice systems and supporting institutional development.
