The Department of Artificial Intelligence at the College of Science organized a successful field awareness campaign, distributing informational brochures about "Environmentally Friendly Technology" throughout the halls and courtyards of Future University on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. The campaign saw active participation from the department's coordinator, Assistant Lecturer Samar Hussein Hilal, and the student activities coordinator, Assistant Lecturer Aya Mohammed Hussein. Several faculty members and students from the department also attended, actively engaging with students from other colleges and raising awareness about the importance of green technologies. The distributed brochures highlighted the roles of artificial intelligence and advanced software solutions in reducing carbon emissions, improving energy consumption, and conserving digital resources. They also emphasized how technology can be used to mitigate electronic pollution and build a conscious and sustainable university community aligned with comprehensive sustainable development standards. This event reinforces the university's academic and community vision of making technology serve the environment and humanity, and encourages students to develop digital projects that benefit the environment and contribute to building a greener and safer future.
