The Dean of the College of Agricultural Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Mahdi Abdul Kadhim Abd, accompanied by the Associate Dean, Prof. Dr. Tahani Jawad Ali, conducted a field visit to the University’s Central Registration Department on Monday, 12 October 2026. The visit aimed to review the progress of new student registration procedures and follow up on the mechanisms for receiving preparatory school graduates for the new academic year. During the visit, the delegation met with a number of prospective students and their parents who expressed interest in joining the College of Agricultural Technologies. The Dean and Associate Dean provided a comprehensive overview of the College’s academic specializations and their practical applications, highlighting their importance in preparing qualified professionals in agricultural technologies, animal production, medicinal plants, and natural products. They also outlined the academic pathways offered by these specializations and their role in keeping pace with modern developments and labor market requirements. Furthermore, the admission procedures and minimum admission average, set at 50% for both morning and evening studies, were explained. The field visit also included following up on the verification of official documents and the cross-checking of student information, as well as reviewing the procedures implemented in coordination with the staff of the Central Registration Department. These efforts aim to ensure the smooth processing of registration applications and facilitate administrative procedures for prospective students and their parents. This visit reflects the commitment of the College of Agricultural Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University to strengthening direct communication with students, providing the necessary academic guidance on the College’s specializations and their practical prospects, and supporting efforts to facilitate admission and registration procedures.
