On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the Artificial Intelligence Department laboratories at the College of Science, Future University, hosted a practical lecture focusing on "Numerical Analysis and the Fundamentals of Computing in the MATLAB Environment." The lecture was presented by the course instructor, Mr. Ali Hussein Jaber, and teaching assistant, Ms. Noor Hassan Obaid, in a stimulating academic atmosphere characterized by direct interaction and participation between students and faculty. The lecture aimed to equip students with basic programming and analytical skills in MATLAB, including how to work with array data and use conditional statements and loop functions to solve mathematical problems. The practical session also included training students in formulating numerical analysis algorithms and testing the efficiency of the programs in handling complex calculations and minimizing approximation errors. The instructors emphasized that combining numerical analysis concepts with the flexibility of MATLAB software is fundamental to qualifying artificial intelligence students, enabling them to build digital models and intelligent simulations upon which major engineering and technology sectors rely. The continuation of these lectures stems from the department's commitment to providing a comprehensive learning environment that combines theoretical and practical aspects, contributing to the preparation of students with the necessary skills to keep pace with the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence and technology. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among Iraqi private universities.
