The Department of Biochemistry at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, continues its practical lectures for second-stage students as part of the Practical Analytical Chemistry course, delivered by Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdul-Hassan Nasser, Head of the Department of Biochemistry, within the approved academic program of the department.
The lectures address a range of fundamental concepts and topics in analytical chemistry, with particular emphasis on the practical component of the course and the application of scientific principles in the laboratory. This approach supports students in developing a clearer understanding of the scientific concepts covered throughout the course.
During the lecture, Prof. Dr. Nasser presented the scheduled scientific and practical topics, explaining the principles underlying analytical applications and emphasizing the importance of accuracy when carrying out practical procedures and handling laboratory materials and equipment. Attention was also given to following the appropriate scientific sequence during laboratory applications.
The practical lectures provide students with an opportunity to engage directly with the course material and understand the relationship between theoretical concepts and practical applications. They also contribute to developing students’ ability to observe, understand, and interpret the outcomes associated with laboratory procedures in analytical chemistry.
These lectures are part of the Department of Biochemistry’s ongoing academic program and reflect the department’s commitment to delivering its scientific courses through an integrated approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, contributing to strengthening students’ academic preparation and supporting their progression into advanced stages of study.
