As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to develop its academic and digital communication practices and enhance the quality of content published through its official platforms, the website coordinators of the College of Science and its academic departments, including the website coordinator of the Department of Biochemistry, participated in a training workshop organized by the University Presidency. The workshop addressed a number of key areas related to the preparation, management, and publication of academic and institutional digital content. The participation reflects the University’s continued interest in developing the professional capabilities of staff responsible for managing its official websites and ensuring that academic activities, scientific achievements, educational initiatives, and institutional events are presented through accurate, organized, and professionally prepared content. A major focus of the workshop was the preparation and writing of university news, including the organization of information, selection of appropriate headlines, editing of news materials, and structuring of content in a clear and coherent manner. Particular emphasis was placed on accuracy, objectivity, and consistency with the academic nature and institutional identity of the University. The workshop also addressed mechanisms for publishing, updating, and managing digital content, highlighting the importance of continuously documenting academic and scientific activities conducted by colleges and departments. Such practices contribute to developing a structured digital archive that reflects the University’s ongoing academic activities and provides the public and academic community with reliable and accessible information. Another important component focused on the procedures for uploading and organizing electronic lectures and educational materials. The discussions emphasized the importance of presenting digital learning resources in a structured and accessible manner, enabling students to reach their lectures efficiently and benefit from them as part of the University’s evolving digital learning environment. The workshop further highlighted the importance of coordination among website coordinators, colleges, academic departments, and relevant administrative units within the University. Such coordination contributes to establishing more consistent digital publishing practices while allowing each college and department to present its academic activities according to its specific scientific and educational context. The participation of the College of Science and its departments represents an important step toward strengthening digital competencies and developing the skills required for effective academic communication. It also reflects the College’s commitment to keeping pace with developments in digital education and institutional communication and to maintaining an active and well-organized presence across the University’s official digital platforms. This initiative forms part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s broader vision of strengthening its digital infrastructure and developing reliable academic and institutional content that reflects its continuous scientific and educational activities. It also supports the transition toward a more integrated digital environment capable of meeting the evolving needs of students, academic staff, and the wider academic community. The workshop aims to enhance the capabilities of website coordinators in preparing and writing academic news, improve the quality of content published through official digital platforms, develop skills in website management and content updating, establish more consistent mechanisms for publishing university activities, and improve the procedures for uploading and organizing electronic lectures and educational resources. These objectives contribute to supporting digital transformation, strengthening academic communication, and enhancing the University’s institutional digital presence.
