Industrial College Technologies Department Conducts Election for Second-Stage Student Representative for the 2026–2027 Academic Year

The Industrial College Technologies Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, headed by Prof. Dr. Younis Abdul Ridha Al-Khafaji, Head of the Department, and supervised by Dr. Taqa Hazem Abdullah, conducted the election for the second-stage student representative for the 2026–2027 academic year. The initiative aimed to promote student participation in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on Quality Education. The election was held in the presence of a number of teaching staff members and second-stage students in an atmosphere characterized by active engagement and responsibility. Students participated effectively in the voting process and selected their representative, reflecting the department’s commitment to fostering a culture of dialogue and participation and providing students with opportunities to contribute to academic and student life. The voting results led to the selection of the student Fatima Raafat as the representative of the second-stage students. She will serve as a link between her colleagues and the department administration, contributing to strengthening institutional communication, conveying students’ needs and suggestions, and supporting collaborative efforts that serve the academic and educational process. This initiative comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to providing an educational environment that encourages participation and responsibility, empowering students to play active roles within their university community, in line with the University’s vision of advancing the quality of education and promoting sustainable development.
