The College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University signed, on Thursday, October 1, 2026, a twinning and academic cooperation agreement with the Technical College of Health and Medical Technologies in Babylon. The agreement aims to expand scientific, academic, and research cooperation, exchange expertise and academic experiences, and enhance the quality of education and institutional development between the two sides.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qaim, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, and the Dean of the Technical College of Health and Medical Technologies in Babylon, Prof. Dr. Raad Ajam Al-Jourani. The agreement reflects the two colleges’ commitment to establishing sustainable academic partnerships that support education and scientific research.
The agreement includes strengthening cooperation in scientific, academic, and research fields; exchanging expertise, knowledge, and successful experiences; fostering communication among academic staff, researchers, and students; and organizing joint scientific events and activities. These areas of cooperation are expected to contribute to developing the educational and research environment and improving the quality of academic outcomes.
The partnership comes as part of the College of Health and Medical Technologies’ efforts to implement quality assurance and academic accreditation standards and enhance institutional performance, particularly in light of the results of quality assessment committees, which reflected a distinguished level of performance. This underscores the College’s commitment to academic and institutional standards and its continuous efforts toward improvement and development.
The agreement also represents an effective step toward strengthening integration among educational institutions, opening new avenues for scientific and research cooperation, and exchanging successful academic practices.
