Students from the Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies Department at the Technical Engineering College of University of Al-Mustaqbal participated in a scientific visit to the International Information and Communications Technology Exhibition and Conference (ITEX IRAQ 2026), held at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds, under the supervision of the College administration and with follow-up by the Department Coordinator, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Hassan. During the visit, the students explored the latest digital technologies and solutions in the fields of information and communications technology and digital infrastructure, and learned about practical applications related to their specialization, particularly system protection and addressing security challenges associated with digital transformation. The visit also provided an opportunity to engage with specialized companies and experts and learn about labor market requirements, thereby enhancing their scientific and professional skills. This participation aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, through promoting practical learning; Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by keeping pace with technological developments; and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, through developing professional skills and connecting students with labor market requirements. This participation is in line with the vision of University of Al-Mustaqbal, ranked first among Iraqi private universities, in providing high-quality educational experiences that combine theoretical knowledge with practical application and preparing qualified professionals capable of meeting future demands.
