The College of Fine Arts Council at Al-Mustaqbal University held its first meeting for the 2026–2027 academic year on Sunday, October 4, 2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Huda Hashim Mohammed Al-Rubaie, Dean of the College, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Head of the Department of Design, the Head of the Department of Art Education, Department Rapporteurs, and the Quality Assurance representative. The meeting discussed a number of academic and organizational matters aimed at ensuring a well-organized start to the new academic year, particularly the organization of working hours and lectures and the follow-up of the educational process. The Council also addressed the completion of the requirements of the 2025–2026 academic year, student promotion procedures, and the completion of SIS requirements. The Council further discussed ways to strengthen the scientific and research activities of teaching staff, emphasizing the importance of preparing and publishing scientific research in reputable local and international journals, contributing to the development of the College’s academic and research performance. The meeting also addressed several administrative and organizational issues, stressing the importance of cooperation and coordination among the College’s departments and units to ensure the smooth progress of work and effectively meet the requirements of the new academic year.
