Under the directives of the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University, the College of Engineering Technologies organized, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, a scientific field visit for its students from various academic disciplines to the International Information and Communications Technology Exhibition and Conference (ITEX IRAQ 2026), held at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds. The visit was conducted under the supervision of the College Deanship and with the follow-up of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen, in response to the official invitation extended to the College by Amwaj Technology Company for Trade, General Contracting, Telecommunications and Internet Services. During the visit, the student delegation, accompanied by the supervising academic staff, explored the latest technological solutions and applications in telecommunications and Internet networks, as well as the rapid developments taking place in the information and communications technology sector. The scientific visit aimed to enhance students’ academic and practical knowledge by connecting theoretical concepts with contemporary technological applications and the evolving requirements of the labor market. It also provided students with opportunities to engage directly with experts and specialized companies in the fields of technology and communications, contributing to the development of their professional skills and career readiness. This initiative reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to promoting the concept of “Creating Impact” and providing an educational experience that connects academic learning with practical applications. It also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
