As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, to strengthening its academic and scientific partnerships with Arab and international universities, a delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University visited Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan to discuss mechanisms for activating and renewing the cooperation agreement between the two institutions. The visit aimed to expand areas of academic and research collaboration and support shared priorities between the two universities.
The Al-Mustaqbal University delegation included Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Hassan Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Professor Dr. Tariq Jawad Kadhim, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department. They were received by Professor Dr. Faisal Abu Al-Rub, Vice President of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, Dr. Nidal Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Mr. Alaa Al-Din Arabiyat, Director of Public and International Relations, along with a number of academic and administrative leaders at the university.
The meeting reviewed the history of academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities and the outcomes achieved through their partnership, including the organization of a joint scientific conference, joint scientific publications, as well as the exchange of expertise and cooperation among colleges, departments, and equivalent academic specializations.
The two sides also discussed ways to renew the cooperation agreement and develop it into more effective and sustainable programs, while expanding collaboration in education and scientific research, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. Discussions also covered student exchange and summer training programs, which would enhance students’ practical experience and strengthen their readiness for the requirements of the labor market.
The visit also included a field tour of several facilities at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, during which the Al-Mustaqbal University delegation explored the educational environment, laboratories, and academic and research capabilities. The two sides also discussed opportunities for exchanging expertise and developing cooperation between colleges and academic specializations of mutual interest.
The visit reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to activating its international cooperation agreements and transforming them into productive academic and research partnerships that contribute to improving the quality of education, strengthening scientific research, and expanding opportunities for students in training and academic exchange. This approach is aligned with the university’s vision of engaging with leading educational institutions and building sustainable academic partnerships.
