In line with the directives of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, aimed at expanding scientific and academic cooperation and strengthening the University’s presence at regional and international forums, a delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University continued its visit to Amman, the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on Thursday, October 1, 2026, to explore opportunities for cooperation and partnership with a number of universities and academic institutions. The visit reflects the University’s commitment to building sustainable academic partnerships, expanding scientific and research collaboration, and promoting the exchange of expertise and knowledge. The Al-Mustaqbal University delegation included Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Prof. Dr. Tariq Jawad Kadhim, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department. The visit forms part of the University’s strategy to expand its academic partnership network and strengthen its engagement with educational and research institutions in the region, in line with its commitment to academic and research excellence. As part of the visit, Al-Mustaqbal University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Scientific and Academic Cooperation with the Applied Science Private University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation in academic, scientific, and research fields, facilitate the exchange of expertise and experiences, and support joint academic and research initiatives and projects, thereby contributing to the advancement of education and scientific research and enhancing academic exchange opportunities between the two institutions. The MoU was signed on behalf of the Applied Science Private University by Prof. Dr. Samiha Jarrah, President of the University, and on behalf of Al-Mustaqbal University by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Haitham Abdullah Abu Khudair, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Wameed Hadi Talib, Director of the International Relations Office, along with a number of academic and administrative officials from both institutions. Prior to the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the academic and research journey of Al-Mustaqbal University, its major achievements, and its progress in international accreditations and rankings. He also presented the University’s future vision for expanding its network of partnerships and strengthening its engagement with universities and academic and research institutions at both regional and international levels. The MoU provides a framework for cooperation across a range of scientific, academic, and research fields, including the exchange of expertise, knowledge, students, and researchers; the organization of joint conferences, seminars, workshops, and scientific activities; and support for joint academic and research projects and initiatives. These areas of cooperation are expected to create valuable academic and research opportunities and strengthen knowledge exchange between the two institutions. This step represents an extension of Al-Mustaqbal University’s approach to establishing effective and sustainable academic partnerships and enhancing its scientific presence at regional and international levels. It also supports opportunities for research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of academic and research capabilities, contributing to the continuous improvement of the University’s educational and research outcomes.
