In a step that reflects Al Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening its academic relations and expanding its network of partnerships with Arab universities, a delegation from the University paid an academic visit to Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan to discuss mechanisms for activating joint cooperation and developing partnership opportunities between the two institutions. The delegation from Al Mustaqbal University included Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Hassan Al-Zuhairi, Director of Academic and Scientific Supervision, and Professor Dr. Tariq Jawad Kadhim, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department. The delegation met with Professor Dr. Faisal Abu Al-Rub, Vice President of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, Dr. Nidal Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Mr. Alaa Al-Din Arabiyat, Director of Public and International Relations, along with a number of academic and administrative officials. The meeting addressed the existing cooperation between the two universities and reviewed the key activities and achievements accomplished under the joint agreement, particularly in the areas of scientific conferences, joint research and academic publications, and the exchange of expertise between corresponding colleges and academic disciplines. The two sides also discussed opportunities to expand cooperation by renewing the agreement and activating its provisions through joint programmes and initiatives, with a focus on education and scientific research, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, as well as developing student exchange and summer training opportunities. These efforts aim to enhance students’ practical skills and academic experience. The visit also included a tour of several facilities at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, during which the delegation from Al Mustaqbal University reviewed the educational environment, laboratories, and academic and research resources, while exploring opportunities for exchanging expertise and benefiting from the institutional experiences of both universities. The visit forms part of Al Mustaqbal University’s approach to activating its academic partnerships and transforming existing agreements into effective and sustainable cooperation programmes. This contributes to the development of educational programmes and scientific research, expands academic exchange and training opportunities for students, and strengthens the University’s engagement with leading Arab and international higher education experiences.
