The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, participated in the activities of the GOTECH 2026 Global Energy and Innovation Exhibition and Forum, held in Dubai. This participation reflects the University’s commitment to expanding academic and professional cooperation and enhancing opportunities for its students to learn about the latest developments in the fields of energy, technology, and innovation. The participation included a meeting with representatives of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) – Khalifa University Chapter, during which opportunities for cooperation and the development of communication channels with specialized professional institutions and networks were discussed. These efforts contribute to strengthening the alignment between academic programs, labor market needs, and the rapidly evolving developments in the energy sector. The meetings also addressed ways to provide University students with valuable opportunities to explore the latest technologies and practices in the energy sector and participate in international scientific and professional events and forums. Discussions also covered opportunities for professional training and development with several global companies operating in the sector, including Oilserv, Schlumberger (SLB), and Dragon Oil. This participation is part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening engagement with international academic and professional institutions and building effective partnerships that enrich the educational process with practical experience and professional opportunities.
