Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved global recognition for the first time through its inclusion in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027 (THE WUR 2027), attaining a global ranking of 1201–1400 among 2,297 universities from 118 countries and territories.
This achievement is the result of the university’s continuous scientific, academic, and research efforts, as well as its institutional commitment to advancing academic and research performance and strengthening its position at both the national and international levels.
On this occasion, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, extended his congratulations and best wishes to all university affiliates, including faculty members, researchers, and staff, commending the dedicated efforts and continuous collaboration that contributed to this academic achievement.
This global recognition places Al-Mustaqbal University second in Iraq after the University of Technology and first among Iraqi private universities, within the 1201–1400 global ranking band. It represents an important step in the university’s continued academic and research development and in strengthening its presence in international scientific forums.
