Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a landmark academic milestone by debuting for the first time in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027 (THE WUR 2027), entering the global band (1201–1400). This achievement highlights the continuous enhancement of its research output and solidifies its position on the international higher education map.Competing among 2,297 ranked universities across 118 countries and territories, Al-Mustaqbal University ranked 1st among all private universities and colleges in Iraq, 2nd among public and private Iraqi universities outside the Kurdistan Region, and 4th overall nationwide.The THE evaluation framework measures performance across core pillars: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry Engagement, and International Outlook. At the national level, Al-Mustaqbal University ranked 2nd in Iraq for International Outlook, 5th for Research Environment, and 6th for Research Quality, underscoring its expanding international partnerships and high-impact research endeavors.On this occasion, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdy, extended his warmest congratulations to the faculty, researchers, staff, and students.
