The Dean of the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, chaired a meeting with department heads and rapporteurs on Tuesday, 29 September 2026, to discuss several issues related to scientific laboratories and mechanisms for their development and improvement of their educational and research services. The meeting addressed the current status of laboratories across the college departments, discussing the necessary requirements to ensure their readiness and provide a suitable educational environment for students, in addition to emphasizing the importance of adhering to laboratory quality and safety standards in accordance with modern university education and academic accreditation requirements. The meeting also discussed mechanisms for organizing laboratory work and enhancing coordination among scientific departments and relevant authorities, contributing to improving students’ practical skills and supporting the applied aspects of academic curricula. The Dean emphasized the importance of continuous follow-up and development, as well as providing all necessary requirements to enhance the quality of scientific laboratories and strengthen the role of the College of Science in delivering distinguished academic education. This meeting is part of the College of Science’s ongoing efforts at Al-Mustaqbal University to develop its educational and laboratory infrastructure and achieve the highest standards of academic quality.
