The Department of Biology at Al-Mustaqbal University continued its theoretical lectures for third-year students in General Mycology on Monday, September 28, 2026. The lecture was delivered under the supervision of Asst. Lecturer Mona Raed in the Humanities Building, as part of the First Semester of the 2026–2027 academic year and in accordance with the department’s approved study plan. The lecture focused on enhancing students’ scientific knowledge in the field of mycology and broadening their understanding of the fundamental concepts and characteristics associated with fungi, in line with the course requirements and the academic level of the students. The lecture covered a number of topics included in the course syllabus, with an explanation of the scientific aspects related to these topics and their significance, contributing to reinforcing students’ knowledge and developing their specialized understanding. The lecture witnessed active engagement from the students through following the scientific explanation, asking questions and inquiries, and participating in discussions, which enhanced their understanding of the course and benefited from its scientific content. The continued teaching of General Mycology is part of the Biology Department’s commitment to implementing the approved study plan and maintaining regular lectures, contributing to the development of the scientific and specialized level of third-year students.
