The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al Mustaqbal University celebrated the publication of the specialized scientific book “100 Rare Complications With 100 Anesthesiologists – First Edition, 2026,” edited by Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Zahra Saasaac, in collaboration with Dr. Ali Fadhil Zaidan, one of the department’s faculty members. The book represents a specialized scientific contribution to the fields of anesthesia and critical care. It addresses 100 cases of rare complications associated with anesthesia, involving 100 anesthesia specialists, and presents a range of rare clinical cases along with the challenges associated with their diagnosis and management during anesthetic practice. The book aims to document clinical experiences and benefit from uncommon cases that anesthesiologists, anesthesia specialists, and anesthesia technologists may encounter. It contributes to enhancing scientific and clinical knowledge and improving preparedness to manage rare and complex complications in anesthesia and critical care settings. This achievement reflects the efforts of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques’ faculty members in supporting specialized scientific output and strengthening academic and research contributions in the fields of anesthesia and critical care.
