As part of the scientific and educational program of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences and with the start of the 2026–2027 academic year, the department organized the first practical laboratory for the Computer Graphics course on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., in the Medical Technologies Building. The laboratory introduced students to the practical fundamentals of MATLAB, including the program’s interface, key tools, and basic concepts that contribute to developing their practical skills in programming and computer graphics. Lecturer Asst. Prof. Aya Mohammed Hussein delivered the scientific component of the laboratory, with the participation of Teaching Assistant Noor Hassan Obaid. The session focused on explaining the fundamental concepts and directly following up on students’ practical applications, strengthening the practical component of the course and connecting theoretical concepts with hands-on application. The organization of these practical laboratories reflects the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences’ commitment to strengthening applied education, developing students’ technical skills, and providing an educational environment that keeps pace with the requirements of modern specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science.
