The Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Professor Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qaim, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, attended the launch of the Lab Mentor platform for smart laboratory education at the Biochemistry Department laboratories of the College of Science at Al Mustaqbal University. The event was attended by the President of Al Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Head of the Department of Biochemistry, Dr. Nasser Abdul-Hassan Nasser, Medical Laboratories Supervisor, Professor Dr. Dakhel Nasser Taha, along with a number of faculty members and specialists. The launch of the platform comes within Al Mustaqbal University’s efforts toward transforming into a smart university and enhancing the use of modern technologies to develop the educational and laboratory environment. This initiative contributes to improving practical education and providing students with digital tools that support them throughout the learning and application process. The Lab Mentor platform provides comprehensive educational and instructional content that enables students to learn about laboratory devices and equipment, their components and functions, as well as understand their operating mechanisms and safety requirements. It also guides students through the steps of conducting practical experiments in an organized manner, making it a supportive tool within laboratories and contributing to the development of their scientific and practical skills. The platform is considered one of the innovative student initiatives developed by members of the Future Student Research Club at Al Mustaqbal University. It reflects students’ ability to employ scientific knowledge and modern technologies in developing digital solutions that serve the educational process and align with the requirements of smart university education. The participation of the College of Health and Medical Technologies’ administration in this event reflects the College’s interest in following modern technological and educational initiatives and benefiting from digital experiences that contribute to the development of laboratory education and the enhancement of students’ skills.
