The President of Al Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, discussed ways to enhance the implementation of agreements and memoranda of understanding signed with local and international universities and academic institutions. The discussion took place during an expanded meeting attended by several college deans and directors of relevant departments and centers. The meeting addressed practical steps to activate academic agreements and transform them into collaborative programmes and projects that deliver tangible outcomes. It also explored new areas of cooperation with partner universities and institutions, particularly in scientific research, academic knowledge exchange, training, academic mobility, and the development and implementation of joint projects and programmes. Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi emphasized the importance of treating these agreements as effective instruments for developing the university’s academic environment and strengthening academic cooperation. He highlighted the need to establish clear implementation plans to ensure that the objectives of these agreements are achieved, while expanding opportunities for partnerships with academic institutions both within Iraq and internationally. The meeting was attended by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi; the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd; and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, in addition to several directors of departments and centers at the University Presidency and the relevant colleges.
