On Sunday morning, 27 September 2026, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, conducted a field visit to the New Student Registration Department, accompanied by the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, to review the progress of application procedures and the arrangements for receiving students seeking admission to the university’s colleges and departments for the 2026–2027 academic year. The visit included a review of the organizational procedures adopted for receiving new students and an assessment of the services provided to students and their families. The University President directed the department to facilitate application procedures and provide the necessary academic and administrative information and guidance, ensuring a smooth registration process and clear instructions for students and their families. The University President also reviewed the services provided by the department to students applying through the Ministry’s “Qaddim” (Apply) platform, including guidance on the electronic application procedures and subsequent steps. The department also provides information about the university’s available colleges, academic departments, and specializations, as well as the nature of study in each field, helping students gain a clear understanding of their academic options. Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi emphasized the importance of continuously developing the quality of services provided to students and adopting an organized institutional approach to admission and registration procedures. Such efforts contribute to enhancing the student experience from the initial application stage and reflect the university’s commitment to providing a supportive educational and administrative environment.
