Al-Mustaqbal University Reviews Mechanisms for Activating Its Academic Agreements to Strengthen Its Local and International Presence The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an expanded meeting dedicated to reviewing the university’s procedures for activating and effectively utilizing agreements and memoranda of understanding concluded with a number of local and international universities and academic institutions. The meeting aimed to enhance their scientific and academic impact and support the university’s direction toward expanding its international partnerships. The meeting was attended by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Prof. Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi; Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul; Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ali Shaker Majdi; along with a number of directors of departments and centers at the university presidency and relevant colleges. The meeting discussed mechanisms for moving existing agreements beyond their formal framework toward effective cooperation programs and projects. It also explored potential areas of collaboration with partner universities and academic institutions, with the aim of creating added value in scientific research, knowledge and expertise exchange, training, academic mobility, and the development of joint programs and projects. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi emphasized the importance of making optimal use of the concluded agreements and transforming them into practical pathways with tangible impact. This would contribute to achieving the intended objectives of these agreements, supporting the development of the academic and research environment, expanding opportunities for international cooperation, and enhancing the standing and academic reputation of Al-Mustaqbal University both locally and globally.
