The Accounting Department at the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University conducted a workshop on Saturday, September 26, 2026, entitled “The Role of the Accountant in Combating Financial Fraud,” presented by Assist. Lecturer Noor Sabah Hassan. The workshop addressed the important role accountants play in reducing financial fraud practices by strengthening control and auditing procedures and identifying indicators and risks associated with financial transactions. This contributes to protecting resources and enhancing the reliability of financial information and reports. The workshop is part of the Accounting Department’s efforts to enhance students’ professional awareness, develop their scientific and practical skills, and connect academic knowledge with professional practices in the fields of accounting and financial control.
