Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a new milestone in campus sustainability, ranking 1st among all private universities and colleges in Iraq and securing the 3rd position nationwide across all public and private institutions, according to the official results of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026. This international recognition reflects the university’s sustained efforts to embed sustainability principles across its academic, administrative, and environmental operations. It highlights Al-Mustaqbal University's ongoing transformation into a smart, green campus in line with its core motto, "Towards a Sustainable University." On this occasion, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdy, extended his congratulations to the faculty, staff, and students, praising their collective dedication and noting that this achievement is the direct result of structured institutional collaboration. He emphasized that this milestone serves as a catalyst to further advance environmental initiatives, solidifying the university's position as a leading national model combining education, innovation, and social responsibility.
