In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful “And say, ‘Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do.’” Surah At-Tawbah – Verse 105 The Dean of the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, delivered a speech on the occasion of the commencement of the new 2026–2027 academic year, welcoming the faculty members, administrative staff, and students of the College. He expressed his wishes for a successful academic year filled with achievement, dedication, and excellence, emphasizing the importance of continuing the College’s academic and scientific journey in a manner that strengthens its position within the University. At the beginning of his speech, the Dean extended his warmest greetings and appreciation to all members of the College of Science, stressing that the beginning of a new academic year represents a renewed opportunity to continue the journey of excellence and achievement, reaffirm commitment to hard work, and pursue continuous academic development in line with the University’s mission and future aspirations. Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani highlighted the significant role played by faculty members in educating future generations and advancing knowledge. He emphasized that their responsibility goes beyond transmitting information and scientific knowledge, extending to inspiring students, developing their skills, and guiding them toward innovation and creativity, while instilling values of commitment, perseverance, and dedication. The Dean also expressed his confidence in the ability of the academic and administrative staff to continue fulfilling their educational and research responsibilities with sincerity and dedication. He called for strengthening teamwork and cooperation among all members of the College community, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in improving academic performance, enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, and providing an outstanding academic environment that meets students’ needs and supports their educational journey. In another part of his speech, the Dean addressed the students of the College on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, encouraging them to work diligently, persevere, and make the most of the educational and scientific opportunities provided by the University. He emphasized that knowledge and education constitute the foundation for building students’ futures and enabling them to serve their country and society. Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani stressed the importance of regular attendance and commitment to theoretical and practical lectures at their scheduled times, as well as active participation in classrooms and laboratories. He noted that such commitment plays an essential role in strengthening students’ understanding, developing their academic and practical skills, and enabling them to make the new academic year an opportunity to achieve further success and accomplishments. The Dean affirmed that the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University remains committed to supporting its students, developing its academic environment, and enhancing the quality of education and scientific research. These efforts aim to prepare highly qualified scientific graduates capable of keeping pace with scientific and technological developments and making meaningful contributions to society. Concluding his speech, the Dean of the College of Science expressed his sincere appreciation to the faculty members, administrative staff, and students, wishing everyone a successful and productive academic year filled with dedication, achievement, and excellence.
