As part of the continued support and communication with Iraqi academic professionals and scholars abroad, a high-level delegation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Kermanshah, Iran, visited the delegation of the College of Science – Department of Forensic Evidence at Al-Mustaqbal University, which is currently participating in a specialized training course at Razi University. During the visit, the Consulate delegation was briefed on the academic and practical training program held under the title: “From the Crime Scene to the Laboratory: Employing Biological Sciences in Forensic Analysis” The program aims to develop the participants’ scientific and practical skills and enhance their knowledge of employing biological sciences in forensic analysis through a specialized training program combining theoretical and practical components. The representatives of the Iraqi Consulate praised the academic commitment and discipline demonstrated by the 16 students participating in the course. They also commended the exceptional efforts of the supervising academic staff, represented by Prof. Dr. Dhirgham Ali Abbas, Head of the Department of Forensic Evidence, and Lecturer Dr. Maytham Nabeel Miqdad, the delegation’s coordinator and supervisor, for their efforts in supporting the students and representing Iraq and Al-Mustaqbal University in a distinguished manner. For his part, the head of the delegation, Prof. Dr. Dhirgham Ali Abbas, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Iraqi Consulate delegation for this kind initiative and for their field follow-up of the students. He noted that the visit reflects the commitment of Iraqi diplomatic institutions to supporting the academic journey of Iraqi students and strengthening communication with Iraqi academic professionals participating in international training programs. The visit is part of Al-Mustaqbal University and the College of Science’s commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation and scientific communication, while providing students with opportunities for professional development and specialized training that contribute to enhancing their scientific and practical skills and preparing them for their future professional careers.
