Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University, chaired a Master's thesis defense committee at the College of Law, University of Babylon, on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The thesis was titled “The Crime of Submitting Reports That Misrepresent a Person’s Psychological Condition: A Comparative Study.” The defense was attended by a number of professors and researchers. The thesis addressed a specialized legal issue concerning the liability arising from submitting inaccurate reports regarding a person’s psychological condition, through a comparative study of relevant legislation and legal provisions. The participation of Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini in chairing academic defense committees reflects the academic presence of the College of Law in scholarly forums and contributes to strengthening scientific cooperation and communication among law colleges at Iraqi universities.
