Al-Mustaqbal University enhanced applied education through a scientific and practical activity focused on the breeding and propagation of carp fish, organized in cooperation between the University Affairs Department and the College of Agricultural Technologies / Department of Animal Production. The activity aimed to integrate academic knowledge with field applications and develop practical skills in the field of aquaculture. The activity included preparing and equipping fish ponds in accordance with appropriate technical requirements, monitoring water quality and environmental parameters, organizing feeding processes, and observing the surrounding conditions of the fish. These measures contributed to providing a suitable environment for growth and improving the efficiency of fish breeding and propagation processes. The activity also provided an opportunity to apply a range of scientific concepts related to animal production and aquaculture through direct observation of the different stages of fish breeding and familiarization with modern methods of pond management and maintaining aquatic environmental quality. This approach strengthened field experience and enhanced the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application. The implementation of this project reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to consolidating applied education, promoting innovation in agricultural and productive fields, and supporting food security and sustainable resource management. It also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals and reinforces the University’s role in serving the community.
