The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, held an extensive meeting with a number of directors of departments and units at the University Presidency to discuss key scientific and academic matters and priorities for the upcoming phase, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision. The meeting addressed an assessment of performance and achievements across several key areas, emphasizing the importance of relying on data and performance indicators to support decision-making and enhance academic and scientific performance. The participants also discussed academic and scientific partnerships, scientific research and publication, university rankings, as well as programs aimed at developing the skills of students and graduates and preparing them for the requirements of the labor market. The University President emphasized the importance of transforming agreements and memoranda of understanding into practical projects and programs with tangible impact, in addition to supporting applied research and expanding cooperation with public and private sector institutions. The meeting also highlighted the importance of activating the Science and Technology Parks Department and strengthening its role in supporting innovation, applied research, and entrepreneurship, contributing to transforming knowledge and research outcomes into projects with economic and social impact.
