Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by its President, Prof. Hassan Shaker Magdy, concluded its official and distinguished participation in the 36th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for International Education (EAIE 2026), held at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow, United Kingdom, from 8 to 11 September 2026, under the theme “The Rhythm of Revolution.” The participation reflected Iraq’s active presence at one of Europe’s largest international higher education gatherings.
The University distinguished itself as the first Iraqi academic institution to participate within the Federation of European Education (FEDE) Pavilion (Booth #F29), where it presented a comprehensive institutional profile highlighting its infrastructure and academic capabilities, in addition to showcasing its extensive portfolio of 55 advanced academic programs that integrate Iraq’s rich cultural heritage with contemporary technological advancement. The exhibition brought Al-Mustaqbal University together with leading universities and educational institutions from countries including France, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Italy, and Switzerland to explore prospects for cooperation and student exchange.
Prof. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, emphasized that this major international participation aims to establish robust and sustainable institutional partnerships that can be translated into tangible academic twinning programs and research projects, providing meaningful opportunities for the University’s students and researchers. The University’s participation resulted in the signing of a series of bilateral agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with several participating international universities, with the aim of developing joint curricula, strengthening academic and research exchange, and keeping pace with the latest international strategies in the internationalization of higher education and digital transformation.
